Men And Plastic Surgery

For years the Hollywood elite have been nipping and cutting through plastic surgery to somehow try to obtain the elusive fountain of youth. Nowadays there are so many non-evasive techniques for cosmetic enhancement through plastic surgery that even the “normals” are within reach of getting procedures done. Within this group are also a growing number of men who are willing to surgically alter their appearance in the name of beauty even if it takes plastic surgery. Here are just some of the most popular procedures that Men are tackling and the prices that are tackling their wallets.

#1: Botox Injections:Cost – $300-400 per injection

Botox is a toxin that is injected that literally paralyzes the muscle causing it to relax. The relaxed state gives the impression that there are no wrinkles.

#2: Microdermabrasion:Cost – $4000 for the whole face

Microdermabrasion is when a doctor quite literally sandblasts the dead skins cells from your face leaving your skin youthful and fresh looking.

#3: Laser Hair Removal:Cost – $450 per treatment

Usually consisting of 3 treatments LHR uses a laser to demolish your hair follicles at the root, causing your hair to quit growing. LSR is usually not completely permanent and can be a little painful.

#4: Liposuction: Cost – $1600 – 7500 Dependent on area

This one does not necessarily need an explanation due to its notoriety. Basically the doctor will go in and suck your fat out. I hear that the healing can be a little painful, but watch a video of the plot being done and you will know exactly why you wound.

#5: Chemical Peel:Cost – $2000 medium and $4000 for deep

A chemical peel consists of having a mixture of chemical applied to your face that remove dead skin cells and rejuvenate unusual skin cells leaving you with a younger looking face.

#6: Rhinoplasty: Cost $3000-8000 Depending on the blueprint and doctor

Rhinoplasty is basically a big word for nose job. One of the original and most popular plastic surgery procedures it also takes some of the most healing time. Quite arguably it also has one of the most drastic changes on your appearance.

#7: Veneers: Cost – Cost – $700-1,000 per tooth for Lumineers

Veneers consist of either a porcelain or composite material that is shaped to look like a tooth. The veneers are placed over chipped, stained, or damaged teeth to give the look of a healthy smile. Porcelain veneers are going to run you a lot more than Lumineers, and there are composite veneers that are even cheaper than the price I have listed.

#8: Calf Implants: Cost – Cost – $5,500

One of the most up and coming Plastic Surgeries for men this draw literally implants a deceptive calf into your leg. Not distinct why this is such a big deal but I guess some men just really want to have muscular looking calves. But I guess if they have butt implants they can have calf implants as well

Obviously these prices are only estimates and are liable to change dependent on where you live and the popularity/track record of the surgeon. Honestly I think that we were all made a certain way for a reason and in most cases it’s not worth the cost to go under the knife for plastic surgery. However, I understand with the popularity of gastric bypass surgery and extreme weight loss plans, a person can be left with flaps of skin that there is no other way to get rid of them other than plastic surgery. Also plastic surgery has become a lifesaver for burn victims, and those suffering from disorders that have left them disfigured so I can see the importance there as well. On the flip side I also know what it feels like to want to obtain perfection in the way that I look. It’s true that those who look “the part” often are much more successful in everything from their careers to their love lives, which is not necessarily true but is a fact of life. Just remember that plastic surgery like tattoos and chocolate can be quite addicting. So keep in mind Michael Jackson’s face while making your final decision of whether or not to pursue plastic surgery. In the raze let me honest say good luck and fast healing to you if this is the decision you choose.
